I has the internet again!
Well we have been in our new home a week now and still have so much work to do. One of Jason’s first projects is going to be to build custom book shelves in our very 1930′s-1940′s detective noir, diesel-punk-ish the office. Yes, you will get to see before and after pictures. After that he plans on building custom furniture for the living room and a airship pirate, loft bed for the kid. I adore what a awesome little geek my kid has become.
I have the daunting task of trying to unpack everything, put together the kitchen, bedrooms, and art studio. The fun part has been dealing with the fact the previous occupant of this home left behind a lot of crap that needs sorted through. The upside is there is a ton of free glassware for me to practice glass etching on… that’s right I’m going to start glass etching my art. Sqeee! I can’t wait!
Oh I’ve started sewing again, working on curtains for the kitchen right now, then moving on to curtains for the bedrooms. I’ll be sure to post pictures for all you DIY fans.
